Local members of the WASPI campaign headed to Manchester recently for a poignant memorial service.Liz Daly and Mary Theresa Hansen represented the West Dunbartonshire WASPI group as they paid respect to women who died before reaching the new pension age of 66.The members are fighting the change to the state pension age which gave women born in the 1950s little opportunity to make financial plans for their futures.A special memorial service was held at the Emmeline Pankhurst statue in St Peter’s Square, to pay respect.
