Thomas Tuchel has emerged as a possible manager candidate for Manchester United, following the UK government's sanctions against Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich casting doubt over the German's future at Chelsea.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has claimed, via the Telegraph, that United should try to bring Tuchel to Old Trafford following the news that Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government in response to Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
Tuchel's future as Chelsea boss is now the subject of wide speculation, as United continue their hunt for their next permanent manager.
United are hoping to have a new manager in place by the end of the 2021/22 season, with Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag currently the leading candidates.
