mirror.co.ukWayne Rooney was asked for £10,000 to keep photos of himself asleep in a hotel bedroom hidden from wife Coleen. Over the weekend images of the former England striker asleep fully clothed in a hotel room with three women emerged.
Rooney’s lawyers contacted police after he was photographed in hotel with the group. Police are believed to have opened a blackmail probe over the Instagram message, which included one photo and a caption saying 'Morning Wayne 10 grand please mate of Coleen sees this.' However, police today dropped the investigation and decided no offence had been committed.
