The rare form of cancer develops from the nerve cells and mostly affects babies and children. Kira has endured six cruel relapses of the disease and has undergone 20 rounds of chemotherapy and various other gruelling treatments.Doctor's have told the brave schoolgirl her illness is “incurable, but treatable”.But since Kira began taking experimental drug Lorlatinib in April 2019 - said to be a “much kinder” treatment than chemotherapy - she has made huge strides in battling her health.Now, there is just one nodule of the cancer remaining - measuring only millimetres,.
