After a pause in celebrations due to Covid-19 in 2020, the Manchester People's Culture Awards have returned for 2021, with the ceremony set to showcase the very best in culture, arts and creativity - the very things which bring our magical city to life.
Now, the shortlist for the Manchester People's Culture Award, supported by the Manchester Evening News, has been revealed. Nominations for the prestigious awards were thrown open to the public in June, and featured 13 different categories for which people could nominate their perceived creative heroes from across Manchester.
