And the Clarets owner Alan Pace has the Belgian 'at the top of his managerial wish-list' for the Burnley dugout.Kompany retired from football in 2020 after a storied career in the blue half of Manchester.On the same day Kompany retired, he was announced as the player-manager of Anderlecht - the club where he started his career.
Kompany started life as player-manager, but is now the outright boss at the Belgian outfit.Kompany initially had stepped back to being just a player after a disastrous spell in 2019, but in 2020 he moved back into a managerial role.
