Vince McMahon 'looking to sell WWE' during May, claims wrestling legend

WWE chief Vince McMahon is in talks with ESPN and Fox over a potential sale of the company, according to wrestling legend Dutch Mantel.

McMahon, 74, has owned the professional wrestling corporation since buying it from his dad back in 1982. In close to 40 years as operating chairman, the American has served as an announcer and a professional wrestler - with his in-ring persona ‘Mr McMahon’ winning the world championship on two occasions.

But according to Mantel, his time as CEO of the sports entertainment company could be about to end. The former wrestling hero posted on Twitter: “HUGE NEWS: Any truth to this.
