United will meet Unai Emery's side in Gdansk on May 26th for the final of the European competition, after getting past Real Sociedad, AC Milan, Granada and Roma in the knockout stages.
Villarreal, who are seventh in the Spanish league but could finish a possible fifth if results go their way, stunned Arsenal to deny an all-English Europa League final.
Emery is looking for his fourth success in the competition, after winning three successive Europa Leagues with Sevilla between 2014 and 2016.
