A pair of cousins physically abused a family dog and left him weeping as they kicked and punched the creature. While staying at a caravan park, witnesses looked on in horror as the two men punched, slapped and kicked Patchy, the bull terrier dog.
When questioned about their heinous actions at a later date, one of the men said that was how they were taught to treat animals growing up, a court heard, as reported by Hull Live.
Luke Harrison, aged 28, from Hull, and Liam Tattershall, 21, initially denied causing necessary harm to a protected animal at Hull Magistrates' Court.During a court trial held on November 8, Tattershall entered a late guilty plea, and Harrison was discovered to be guilty in the trial that went ahead in his absence.RSPC
