Dramatic footage shows the moment a suspected paedophile is 'rescued' by police after he was cornered by a 'vigilante mob' as he hid in a convenience store.
Roughly 50 people gathered outside the branch of McColl's in Hull where they hurled abuse at the man who they believed to be a convicted sex offender.
The man is understood to have been convicted in 2015 of possessing more than 14,000 indecent images of children and was handed down a three-year community order, Hull Live reports.
