Clarke was suspended by BAFTA, and his recent Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award was suspended, after allegations of serious misconduct which were published in a Guardian report.
The Viewpoint actor has denied the allegations made by 20 women through his lawyer. Social media was awash with fans revealing they were switching off Viewpoint while others questioned whether the finale would be pulled from our screens in the wake of the bombshell claims.
