Video captures burglar stealing car after 'stamping' on owner in vicious attack

Craig Collier said he had “never felt so scared” after waking to find a masked man had broken into his Tyldesley home on Sunday (April 11).

He had been asleep when he heard his dog barking at around 6.15am. The 35-year-old heard movement downstairs and then a 'scratching' noise coming from the front of the house.

He glanced out his window and saw a man scraping ice off his car windscreen and asked him what he was doing. To his horror, he realised the man was a burglar and had his car keys.
