ViacomCBS to Launch Pluto TV in France, Vowing to "Transform" Market

ViacomCBS will launch advertising-supported streaming service Pluto TV in France next month, vowing to "transform" the country’s TV and streaming market.

ViacomCBSNetworks International, in the latest step of the global rollout, said Pluto TV would introduce the service in France on Feb.

8, highlighting that it will become "the first FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) service to debut in the country." The service will allow French audiences to stream 40 curated and original channels.

Its library will include content from both ViacomCBS brands and third parties through "partnerships with a large number of leading international and French publishers, broadcasters, and distributors with the aim to deliver constantly fresh and varied content,".
