Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Vanessa Feltz hits out at 'absolutely stupid' new slogan from Boris Johnson

Vanessa Feltz has hit out at the new “absolutely stupid” slogan from Boris Johnson ’s government. ‘Keep Life Moving’ is the new slogan from the UK government for the public to carry on with life responsibly as legal restrictions have been removed in England in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking with presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on Thursday’s This Morning on ITV, broadcasters Vanessa Feltz and Tom Swarbrick gave their views on the slogan.

Tom found the slogan “ironic” considering Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak were both self-isolating after being close contacts of a person who had tested positive for Covid-19.
