Kobe Bean Bryant (August 23, 1978 – January 26, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. As a shooting guard, Bryant entered the National Basketball Association (NBA) directly from high school, and played his entire 20-season professional career in the league with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant won many accolades: five NBA championships, 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, 12-time member of the All-Defensive Team, 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), two-time NBA Finals MVP winner. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, he led the NBA in scoring during two seasons, ranks fourth on the league's all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists.

etonline.comVanessa Bryant is denying her mother, Sofia Laine's, claims that she's cutting her off financially.In an interview on Univision's that aired on Monday, Laine claimed that Bryant suddenly asked her to leave the three-bedroom, Irvine, California, house she was living in, that the late Kobe Bryant bought her, though the house isn't under Laine's name.
She also claimed that her daughter told her to return the car she gifted her.Laine is currently living in an apartment that Bryant is paying for, but claimed that once her lease is up in March that she'll be on her own.
In a statement to, Bryant said she continues to financially support her mother, and that she and Kobe had done so for the past 20 years.
