The documentary is co-directed by Leo Scott and Ting Poo. Kilmer, his son Jack, 26, and his daughter Mercedes, 29, produced the doc.Scott and Poo told the publication they were inspired to make a movie about the “Top Gun” star’s life after learning about his body of work.“We approached him three years ago,” said Scott.
