Raducanu defeated fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez to land a £1.8million cheque and to earn her place among the stars. She made history as the first British woman to win a Grand Slam since Virginia Wade at Wimbledon in 1977 — in a triumph widely viewed as unparalleled for a young British athlete.
And just 48 hours later she was invited to the event by Vogue's Dame Anna Wintour following her incredible victory on Saturday.
