The 25-year-old arrived at the University of Bolton Stadium last summer after leaving Carlisle United. He has been ever-present in the Whites starting team and played mostly at right-back or right wing-back, but has also played on the left flank too.
The former Everton youth team prospect has played 39 times for Bolton in all competitions next season, scoring three goals and notching four assists in that time.
