Imperial College London welcomed four new contestants, Zeng, Sheriff, Mays and Jackson - who were keen to vye to the winning title.
Answering questions from host Jeremy Paxman, viewers couldn't help but notice it appeared that the team weren't getting along as expectred.
Mays and Jackson were seen collaborating with each other to figure out the answers to each of the brain teasers, while ignoring their team-mates.
