Met Office has warned. Torrential rain and temperatures below normal for this time of year will leave punters hoping to grab a pint in the beer garden looking forward to getting inside once again from Monday.
But forecasters have offered a faint glimmer of hope, with sunny spells set to occur throughout the weekend lifting temperatures as high as 17C in some areas, Mirror Online reports.
Next week could follow a similar pattern of weather with more rain and cold weather – as a number of bookies have slashed the odds on this May going down as the wettest on record.
