Flood-battered Britain has woken up to a miserable soggy day after torrential rain hit the UK last night, as the stormy weather front continues to make its way across the country.In some areas, witnesses claimed a 'mini tornado' caused chaos, and snow began to fall overnight.Locals in Ferring, West Sussex, said the village was battered by a mini-tornado as the intense gusts damaged their gardens.One person said: "I’m in Ferring, I was in my daughter’s room at the time and we heard a bang and the windows shook and both wondered what on earth has happened."However, it's unconfirmed if the adverse and sporadic weather was a tornado.In Braemar, the mercury plummeted on the evening of wild weather, and snow was seen falling in the Scottish.
