Brits can expect sunny spells and highs of 7C after temperatures plummeted below freezing overnight. After a frosty start, the first weekend of Spring looks set to be bright with the Met Office predicting sunshine and clear spells.
Early patches of mist and fog will clear with a chance of drizzle in parts of north-west Scotland. Into Sunday, England and Wales will see enjoy dry conditions with some sunshine, with rain forecast in Scotland again.
Overnight temperatures of -4C will mean a frosty start for many before the sunshine breaks through. The South West and parts of the South East will see highs of 7C with temperatures to nudge 6C in the North West of Scotland and 5C near Cardiff, Wales.
