Britain is set to be hit with heavy rain and possible flooding while "extreme gales" are on the cards as Storm Barbara arrives.
The Met Office has warned the storm - named in Spain - will not cause the same impact here as in the UK's European neighbours but there is potential for some severe weather through to Wednesday.
Meanwhile, two yellow weather warnings remain in place this morning in Northern Ireland and Scotland with up to 100mm of rain expected to fall in parts.
However, a shift in weather fronts means the chilly temperatures maybe replaced by highs of 18C before the middle of the week.
