Britain is still reeling from deadly Storm Christoph which brought a blast of heavy snow after dumping torrential rain which triggered devastating floods in England and Wales, forcing thousands of families to flee their homes.
More is on the way this weekend, with as much as 6ins (15cm) possible in Devon and Somerset, and 4ins (10cm) in Shropshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire, the Met Office warned.
