dailystar.co.ukUK are being told to stock up the food and stay indoors this weekend as a 'life-threatening' wave of wind and snow looks set to unleash chaos.The Met Office has said that debris could be sent flying into the air today as Storm Arwen rips across the country, causing potential danger to life.Public transport disruption, fallen trees, damage to buildings, high waves and power cuts are also said to be 'likely', and the storms are expected to continue into weekend.An amber wind warning has been issued for the northeast of England and Scotland, which are expected to bear the brunt of the storm, for 15:00 on Friday to 09:00 on Saturday.In addition, a a Level 2 cold weather alert is in force for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the west of England.
