UK holiday firms have been accused of trying to make a "quick buck" out of desperate households - with price rises of up to 100% since the Prime Minister unveiled his recovery roadmap on Monday.
Prices on local breaks have doubled in price, according to customers - pushing up some short breaks to more than £1,000, after the government warned foreign travel may be off the cards for months.
Some breaks to beach-side resorts such as Dorset, have jumped 100%, sparking outrage amongst holidaymakers who say they are being exploited.
