Shane Warne's cause of death as natural causes following an autopsy report done by local authorities.The death of the 52-year-old was confirmed by his management team on Friday just hours after he had posted a photo of the Thai villa in which he was staying.The Australian cricket icon is believed to have suffered from a huge heart attack - and it has now been confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.Warne's body had been taken from Koh Samui island by ferry to the Surat Thani mainland on Sunday (February 6) and taken to a local hospital who completed the autopsy.Warne's body is set to be transported back to Australia before a state funeral at his beloved Melbourne Cricket Ground.Paramedics had been called to the scene after Warne was found unconscious, after friends had tried to revive him using CPR.The four friends had tried to save Warne's life for 20 minutes before an ambulance arrived to take him to the Thai International Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Police confirmed: "The doctor announced the death of the person at 6:53pm."Police went and checked the room and there was no sign of intrusion or possessions being searched through. The body was sent for an autopsy at Koh Samui Hospital."Thai deputy national police spokesman Kissana Phathanacharoen said on Monday that the family had been informed of the autopsy result and that his body would then be transferred to Australian consular officials.Warne starred for Australia cricket between 1992 and 2007 and is widely regarded as one of the best bowlers in the history of the sport having taken 708 test wickets.
