UFC heavyweight Alexander Volkov was booed on Saturday night after sending a message to Moscow after winning his fight. The Russian mixed martial artist produced a flurry of devastating punches just two minutes and 12 seconds into the first round to defeat Jairzinho Rozenstruik via a technical knockout.

Now I’m waiting for next fight. I’m ready for a challenge or anything.“I want to say hello to Moscow and my family, to everybody who stays in Moscow and cannot get a visa to get here to USA.
But my team here helped me with everything so thank you to everybody for helping and supporting me. I wish I will go forward in the future.”The prolonged boos that met his comments could still be heard as Felder asked Volkov his second question as the small crowd let their feelings be known.Russian fighters had previously been booed at UFC London back in March, where Volkov also headlined as he lost to Tom Aspinall via a first round armbar submission.Should Russian fighters be allowed to fight in the UFC?
