Tyson Fury has been included on the shortlist for the Sports Personality of the Year award, despite threatening to sue the BBC.
Fury was named on the six-person list after a year which saw the WBC heavyweight champion retain his title by knocking out Deontay Wilder in their epic trilogy fight.
The ‘Gypsy King’ is included alongside tennis star Emma Raducanu, Tom Daley, Adam Peaty, Raheem Sterling and Dame Sarah Storey.
The nomination comes though after Fury threatened to take legal action against the BBC if they included him on their list for the award.
