Grealish, 25, arrives from Aston Villa for £100m in a deal that smashes City's previous highest transfer fee paid. That came last year for Ruben Dias, who cost in the region of £63m, just over the previous £60m record for Rodri, and before that Riyad Mahrez.
City have become well known for sticking to valuations of targets, and have walked away from deals for players like Kalidou Koulibaly, Harry Maguire and Mahrez when the selling club demanded too much.
