Two-week-old Ciaran Leigh Morris hit by car in pram died from 'multiple trauma', inquest hears

Ciaran Leigh Morris was just two-weeks-old when a car collided into his pram as he was being pushed along the pavement by family in Brownhills, Walsall, at about 4pm.

Today, an inquest into his death was opened and adjourned in Oldbury, West Midlands. The hearing was told that Ciaran was treated at the scene by paramedics but he died from “multiple trauma” injuries.

Coroner Joanne Lees said: “The death of Ciaran Morris was reported to the coroner by West Midlands Police and Walsall Manor Hospital. “Police reported to me that Ciaran had been involved
