Two Rutherglen youngsters break swimming club records for females at Scottish National Age Group Championships

Two young girls from a Rutherglen swimming club have set club records for females whilst at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen.Kaysey Dickson smashed her 200m backcrawl winning gold, and became not only Scottish National Age Group Champion but also a double champion after winning her race the following day, making her the first ever Scottish Female Double Age Group Champion that the club has ever had.Iris Ware also broke records for the club becoming the first female to compete in a distance event (1500m) at a national event for the club, where she finished ninth in her age group.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
