Two Rutherglen church foodbanks hope to break down barriers in judge-free zone

Two Rutherglen churches have come together to provide vital foodbank services for locals whilst breaking down barriers in a judge-free zone.Parishioners of both, St Anthony’s and St Mark’s, with the leadership of Father Charles, have been volunteering their time, energy and money to help those in the local communities in need during these difficult times.Both foodbanks are supported by the local charity SVDP.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We had great support from volunteers from other foodbanks, who helped us organise things. They are still heavily involved, and their support and guidance cannot be quantified.
