A man and a woman have been taken to hospital following a car crash on a Scots road. Emergency crews were called to the A80 Cumbernauld Road, near Chryston in North Lanarkshire, around 7.40am on Wednesday following the collision involving one vehicle.
Police confirmed the road remains closed for collision investigation to be carried out at the scene.
