A 27-year-old and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday (April 26).
They have both been charged with murder of 17-year-old Josiah Norman. Police were called just after 8.15pm on April 21 to reports of a stabbing on Peveril Road in Salford.
Emergency services attended and Josiah was rushed to hospital. The teenager later died from his injuries. In court, the 27-year-old spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
