Two men have had to be cut from a van and a car after a serious collision this afternoon (August 7). Emergency services were scrambled to the smash in Stockport around 4.45pm with both of the men taken to hospital.
The crash happened on Bramhall Lane, in the Davenport area of Stockport, with a black Ford van and silver Renault car heavily damaged.
The road was completely taped off by police and remains closed this evening. Pictures taken from the scene show a large police presence with a significant section of the road taped off with cars being turned around.
The front of both vehicles are seriously damaged with a large amount of debris at the scene.
