The fire service said two cars were involved. A spokesman said firefighters worked alongside paramedics to administer first aid.

Thankfully he said they required treatment for 'non life-threatening injuries'. It's understood the collision happened close to the junction of Wilbraham Road and St Werburgh's Road.
