The Government are reportedly planning scenarios in a bid to provide people with a third line of protection against winter deaths.
The leaked 'core planning' documents show that children will be given the dose when schools open. It also shows that all Brits over 50 will be offered booster vaccines against new variants as a third line of protection, on top of the drive for flu jabs.
The plans, seen by The Sun, reportedly show the Government are planning another bumper flu immunisation drive like last year, with half the country eligible for a shot.
