Trisha Goddard has admitted she used to cover her skin with talcum powder as a child in a bid to escape racist taunts. The former talk show host, 62, has opened up about the racism she's suffered and revealed she recently had a candid chat with her daughter Billie, 30, about her attempts to hide her skin colour.

Billie admitted she felt the same as her mum, but wasn't going to mimic her talcum powder trick. She told The Sun Online : "I said, ‘Bills, I’ve decided I’m not going to be black any more’. "She felt so sad for me, and I said, ‘I’m too exhausted.
