ITV have been trying to work out what to put in the old Jeremy Kyle Show slot ever since they dropped it a year ago. The show was ended following the death of one of the programme’s guests.All ITV needed to do was look in their old schedules at who was there before Jeremy first aired in 2005 — Trisha Goddard.
I’m told that next week, the telly veteran is shooting a pilot for a rebooted version of her iconic talk show, which was simply called Trisha and ran on ITV from 1998 until 2004.
The new version of the show is being made by production giants Spun Gold. A source said: “It’s being referred to as Talk to Trisha at the moment. “But telly fans will recognise it for what it is — the old legendary show and her back together.” It’s a UK.
