Tributes to grandad who died after recently beating coronavirus and cancer

Bolton town centre for more than 30 years, has died. Ronnie Guest worked alongside his father Fred and older brother Peter at Guest Brothers Office Equipment, which was based in Bowkers Row.

Over the years, the business also had premises in the old Bradshawgate Arcade, in Silverwell Street and in Folds Road, until the company was sold in 1996.

He even met his first wife and mother of his children at one of the shops, after she had come in to get her typewriter fixed.Ronnie's daughter Simona Woods paid tribute to his dad, following his death last weekend.

She said: "He was lovely and was well liked by everybody. "He was very kind, and had a good sense of humour, although he could be a little bit mischievous at times.
