Tributes to 'genuinely nice guy' Scots football stalwart after sudden death

Football clubs from across the north of Scotland have been paying tribute to a giant of the game Garry Davies, who died suddenly on Tuesday.

The 62-year-old was club secretary at Highland League team Rothes FC for more than 16 years, and was well-known by all in the footballing community.

His death was marked by a minutes silence in the Aberdeenshire Cup final last night, with Rothes' next two games also postponed as a mark of respect.
