Tributes have been paid to a “big-hearted” Scottish darts star, who represented his country at a World Cup, after his tragic death from Covid.

Wullie Wilson, nicknamed by friends ‘Madhoose’ by pals, has been described as a “popular, happy-go-lucky” father and husband, reports Edinburgh Live.

The talented West Lothian darts player had been instrumental in setting up the country’s disability darts squad, which hosted the world championships in Whitburn in September.
