Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko's government ordered a flight from Greece to Lithuania to divert to Minsk, where Roman Protasevich, a journalist and blogger opposing the Belarus regime who was on board the flight, was arrested.
Belarus state media said the aircraft was diverted to the country's capital following a bomb threat. European leaders have since been discussing how to respond to the "outlandish actions", and now the Transport Secretary has announced he has suspended Belarus’ national airline
