TransPennine Express (TPE) has confirmed it will be increasing the number of trains on its service from Manchester to Scotland throughout the Christmas period.
The service will see a Nova 1 train make its debut on the route, joining the Nova 2 fleet that currently operates between Scotland and the North West.
Beginning on Sunday 12th December 2021, TPE will be bringing back their service from Manchester to Glasgow, which when combined with the existing Manchester to Edinburgh trains, will offer an hourly service from Manchester to Scotland.
