Following new restrictions against UK travellers, including Scots, due to the Omicron Covid variant, Inghams, one of the UK's major winter holiday operators, has suspended all December departures to Switzerland.
Inghams said the cancellations were due to the requirement announced on November 27 for Brits arriving in Switzerland to self-isolate for 10 days, reported Wales Live.
Travellers from the UK will also need be fully vaccinated and show proof of a negative coronavirus test.The new rules were introduced on Saturday after the first case of the Omicron variant was identified in the UK.Authorities have not said how long the quarantine rule for British travellers will remain.Switzerland added the UK to the Swiss Federal Office of Health's
