Brighton boss Graham Potter is on a four-man shortlist at Tottenham as they look to appoint a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss was sacked by Spurs last month with Ryan Mason instilled as interim boss until the end of the campaign, but that appointment will not be made permanent.
Spurs have been linked to a number of potential new managers although early frontrunner Julian Nagelsmann was subsequently appointed as future Bayern Munich boss while his predecessor Hansi Flick - also linked to Spurs - appears likely to be appointed as the new German national team boss.
