Muslims around the world will now be observing the last 10 days of Ramadan, otherwise known as Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power).
The last 10 days of Ramadan are considered the most important part of the holy month because it was on one of the last 10 days that the Quran was first revealed to the prophet Muhammad.
While the exact day of the night is not officially known, it is generally believed to be one of the last five odd-numbered days.
Spiritually, it is believed that the Night of Power is one of the most special nights of the year as many believe that prayers are more likely to be accepted while charity brings extra spiritual rewards.
