TOP Gear star Freddie Flintoff raced into action and splashed out millions to buy his ex-footballer pal Phil Neville’s home.
Former England cricket hero Flintoff, 43, snapped up the luxury mansion after Neville, 44, put it up for sale and moved to the US to become manager of David Beckham’s Inter Miami team.
The six-bedroom home in Hale, Cheshire, has a pool, gym, cinema, underground car park and a steel-lined panic room. The property, which was on the market for £5.25million, immediately caught Flintoff’s eye and a deal was done in a matter of weeks.
