Eastenders, Doctor Who and Get Some In! actor Tony Selby has passed away at the age of 83.Tony worked as an actor for over 70 years and made appearances across a number of high profile British productions in film, television and theatre. His management, LCM limited confirmed his death via Twitter in a statement, reading: “With great sadness we announce that actor Tony Selby passed away peacefully in London yesterday.

Tony played conman Sabolam Glitz in Doctor Who from 1986 to 1987.His best known and longest role was as Corporal Percy Marsh in the RAF comedy Get Some In!, appearing from 1975 to 1978.He also starred as Susan Harper's long lost father in My Family.Many will remember his stint in EastEnders where he played Clive Mitchell, the uncle of Phil, Sam and Grant.His last known TV appearance was in 2012 when he appeared in the film Cockneys vs Zombies.The tweet from LCM Management was met with huge condolences.One said: "He was superb!
